Description: Join our expert panel of faculty, including Drs. Catherine Everett, Jenny Hoang, and Andy Moriarity as they talk about the effects of consolidation on the healthcare marketplace and how local and national factors influence both radiology practice governance and changes in the specialty. Learn about how academic expansion creates challenges for previously small or independent practices, how that affects PACS and other system integrations and the trickle down affect that has on private practices trying to remain integrated. Take notes on how academic centers are successfully integrating different hospitals into the fold, what鈥檚 worked and what challenges have been encountered, and how to maintain a community feel despite the physical distance that exists.

  • Describe the positive and negative effects of large systems, not-for-profit and for-profit, acquiring community hospitals
