About Jonathan S. Lewin, MD, F黑料网
Jonathan Lewin, MD, F黑料网, is currently the Executive Vice President for Health Affairs, Emory University; Executive Director, Woodruff Health Sciences Center; and President, CEO and Chairman of the Board, Emory Healthcare. He also serves as Professor of Radiology and Imaging Sciences and Professor of Biomedical Engineering in the Emory School of Medicine and Professor of Health Policy and Management in the Rollins School of Public Health.
Prior to his Emory appointment, Dr. Lewin served as the Martin Donner Professor and Chairman of the Russell H. Morgan Department of Radiology and Radiological Science at Johns Hopkins University and the Radiologist-in-Chief at Johns Hopkins Hospital from 2004 until 2016, with secondary appointments as Professor of Oncology, Neurosurgery and Biomedical Engineering.
Dr. Lewin is an international leader in academic medicine strategy, integrated healthcare delivery, and interventional and intraoperative MRI. He has spearheaded successful efforts to optimize patient safety, increase health system operating efficiency, enhance patient access, and advocate nationally for healthcare reform. He is a pioneer in MR-guided minimally invasive intervention and image-guided surgery, helping to develop devices, technologies, and methods for treating cancer and other conditions.

Dr. Lewin married his high school sweetheart. They have been married for over 35 years. Outside of work, he enjoys playing saxophone in bands across all genres of music, but most enjoys playing with Jazz quartets or quintets and have had regular jazz groups for the past 20 years.
Prior to radiology, Dr. Lewin thought he was going to be an orthopedic surgeon when applying to medical school, but changed his mind to Radiology during his second year when he first saw the diagnostic impact and technological innovation of the field.
