Understanding and Pursuing Health Equity: Opportunities to Take Action

This webinar recording on health equity and radiology is designed to provide radiologists with insight on how they can take action to ensure quality care for all members of their communities. Presenters include leaders from the American Medical Association (AMA) and the 黑料网 (黑料网) in the areas of health system equity and inclusion. Experts describe how overcoming racial, socio-economic, and geographical barriers supports high quality imaging care and vibrant practices.

Instructions for Claiming Continuing Medical Education (CME) Credits

Instructions to Receive Credit
In order to successfully complete the activity, participants must complete an activity post-test and evaluation. Participants must receive an 80% or higher score on the post-test. The participant has three attempts to pass the post-test and claim credit commensurate with their participation in the activity.

  2. Define a racial equity plan.
  3. List ways that the COVID-19 pandemic has revealed and exacerbated structural barriers.
  4. Identify the ways in which financial toxicity creates barriers to receiving timely care.
  5. Describe how technology can be leveraged as a tool to promote health equity by improving communication between providers and patients from underserved communities.
