Lung Cancer Screening Improvement Collaborative

黑料网 Lung Cancer Screening Improvement CollaborativeLung cancer continues to be the biggest cancer killer in both men and women, and currently up to 90% of eligible patients do not receive screening CT.

The Lung Cancer Screening Improvement Collaborative seeks to significantly increase lung cancer screening volumes.

Improvement collaborative participation provides site teams with the structure and framework to design a robust lung cancer screening program to increase screening exam volume.

Problem Statement

Lung Cancer Screening is underutilized by eligible patients, possibly leading to missed opportunities for early cancer detection, improved care management and better patient outcomes.

How the Collaborative Works

Collaborative sites will form an interdisciplinary team of four to six members who participate in the 黑料网® ImPower Program with shared learning, alongside a cohort of colleagues from four to six institutions, identifying ways to increase lung cancer screening volumes.

  • Program navigator or coordinator.
  • CT supervisor/manager or technologist.
  • Cancer center or multidisciplinary nodule conference representative.
  • Primary care leader/champion.
