Recipients to be recognized during 黑料网 2025 Annual Meeting
黑料网 Announces 2025 Honorees
The 黑料网® (黑料网®) Board of Chancellors named three Gold Medalists and three Honorary Fellows in recognition of their extraordinary contributions to the field of radiology and outstanding service to the 黑料网. Honorees will be recognized during the 黑料网 2025 Annual Meeting in Washington, DC, May 3–7.
The following individuals will receive the 黑料网 Gold Medal:
- Jacqueline A. Bello, MD, F黑料网, is the immediate past chair of the 黑料网 Board of Chancellors. In addition, she served as chair of the 黑料网 Commission on Quality and Safety, Commission on Government Relations, and Commission on International Relations. Dr. Bello is the Zimmer Hardy professor of Neuroradiology, professor of Radiology and Neurosurgery and director of Neuroradiology, Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Montefiore Medical Center, Bronx, NY.
- Beverly G. Coleman, MD, F黑料网, is the first African American to be elected president of the College and continues as a member of the Judiciary Committee. She is the first director of fetal imaging at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia Center for Fetal Diagnosis and Treatment and the inaugural holder of the Beverly Gilbert Coleman Endowed Chair in Fetal Imaging.
- Alan D. Kaye, MD, F黑料网, has a long history of service to the 黑料网 and has held many roles within the College, including Council speaker, 黑料网 president and chair of the Judiciary Committee. He is an 黑料网 councilor representing the Radiological Society of Connecticut, of which he is a past president. Dr. Kaye served as chair of radiology at Bridgeport Hospital, was a managing member of a large radiology practice, and was on the medical staffs of Bridgeport, Yale New Haven and St. Vincent’s Hospitals.
2025 黑料网 Honorary Fellows
Boris Brklja膲i膰, MD, PhD, of Croatia, Evelyn Lai Ming Ho, MBBS, MMed, of Malaysia, and Sandra Lynne Turner, MBBS, PhD, of Australia, will be named 2025 黑料网 Honorary Fellows.
- Boris Brklja膲i膰, MD, PhD, is chair of the European Society of Radiology (ESR) “Eurosafe” Imaging Initiative and former general secretary of the International Society of Radiology (ISR). He is currently helping to pilot and disseminate the ESR iGuide clinical decision support, developed by 黑料网 and the ESR, throughout Europe and was leader of the EU-JUST-CT European project that investigated the appropriateness of CT imaging in seven EU member states. Dr. Brklja膲i膰 is chair of the Department of Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology at University Hospital “Dubrava” in Zagreb, Croatia. He is also professor of Radiology at the University of Zagreb School of Medicine and vice-rector at the University of Zagreb. Dr. Brklja膲i膰 is an associate professor of Radiology at the University of Iceland, Reykjavik, and an adjunct professor of Radiology at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
- Evelyn Lai Ming Ho, MBBS, MMed, is the immediate past president of the Asian Oceanian Society of Radiology (AOSR). She received the AOSR Gold Medal in 2024. Dr. Ho received the Inaugural Novartis–Malaysian Breast Cancer Council Award for Leadership in breast cancer advocacy and the Malaysian Women’s Weekly Great Women of Our Time Award for her achievements and contributions to society in the fields of health, sports and wellness. She is a former executive committee continental member of the International Society of Radiology and of the Radiological Society of North America news editorial board. Dr. Ho is a consultant clinical radiologist and former head of the radiology department at Park City Medical Centre in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, where she also served as the chair of the Radiation Safety Committee.
- Sandra Lynne Turner, MBBS. PhD, is the founder and chair of the Global Radiation Oncology Collaboration in Education (GRaCE), a joint venture of the European Society of Radiation Oncology (ESTRO), Canadian Radiation Oncology Society (CARO) and Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (RANZCR) to promote health professional education and development of leadership skills among radiation oncology professionals. She is chair of the RANZCR Radiation Oncology CanMEDS Intrinsic Roles Review Committee and a member of the RANZCR Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Task Force. She is a senior staff specialist in radiation oncology at Crown Princess Mary Cancer Centre, Westmead Hospital, subspecializing in genitourinary cancers and sarcoma.
