Thyroid Ultrasound Using 黑料网 TI-RADS鈩

This educational activity allows the learner to further develop their interpretation proficiency of thyroid nodules by using 黑料网 TI-RADS to reduce unnecessary biopsies.

This activity is divided into a pre-test comprised of seven cases, followed by 18 learning cases (with case feedback), and a post-test of seven cases.

The learner will assess each case for sonographic features including composition, echogenicity, margins, shape, and echogenic foci, to determine the risk category.

Learning Objectives


  1. Recognize the use of 黑料网 TI-RADS for thyroid nodules on ultrasound to categorize risk of malignancy.
  2. Describe the difference between thyroid nodule signs under categories of composition, echogenicity, margins, shape and echogenic foci. 
  3. Identify nodules that do not need further biopsy or follow-up ultrasound.

To receive credit for the activity participants must:

1. Complete the post-test with a passing score of 80% or higher, a maximum of 3 attempts will be allowed. 
2. Complete the post-activity evaluation and claim credit commensurate with their participation in the activity.
