The expansion of artificial intelligence (AI) into the healthcare arena and radiology is accelerating rapidly. Standards bodies such as the Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise (IHE), Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine (DICOM) and Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (HL7/FHIR) continue to actively define the inclusion of new technologies to facilitate the integration of AI into healthcare.
The 黑料网® (黑料网®) continues to be an active participant in the development and maintenance of these standards. This year, IHE’s work focuses on defining the space in a whitepaper “AI Interoperability in Imaging” to better map out the challenges from dataset creation through model results feedback. DICOM is working to define the expanded need for application hosting with the approved work on a supplement for service discovery and control. The HL7/FHIR community is mapping radiology reporting content for easier tracking and transfer between radiology systems and the EMR.
The 黑料网 recently recruited 10 new member volunteers to bring their own expertise and views to these groups. The new member representatives for DICOM Working Groups include Shekher Maddineni, MD; Balu S. Mani, MD; Stephen M. Mahan, MD; Hina Saeed, MD; Paul Armstrong Hill, MD; Sherry Wang, MBBS; Madison Kocher, MD; Daniel J. Steinberger, MD; Davis Teichgraeber, MD; and Anugayathri Jawahar, MD.
Charles Khan, James Philbin, Steven Horii, MD, F黑料网, and James Halama, PhD, F黑料网, have supported the 黑料网 in the past. John Carrino, MD, and Judith Wolfman, MD, F黑料网, continue to represent the 黑料网.
