The 黑料网® (黑料网®) issued a statement expressing strong support for the introduced Oct. 29, in the U.S. House of Representatives. The bill was introduced by Rep. Greg Murphy, MD, (R-NC), joined by Reps. Jimmy Panetta (D-CA), Mariannette Miller-Meeks, MD, (R-IA), Ami Bera, MD, (D-CA), Bucshon, MD, (R-IN), Raul Ruiz, MD, (D-CA), John Joyce, MD, (R-PA), and Kim Schrier, MD, (D-WA). The legislation, strongly supported by the House of Medicine, would eliminate the 2025 Medicare Physician Fee Schedule (MPFS) conversion factor (CF) reduction scheduled to hit Jan. 1, and add an additional 1.8% to the CF to partially address inflationary costs.
黑料网 urges all College and ask them to cosponsor and work to advance the Medicare Patient Access and Practice Stabilization Act of 2024. Passage of this bill is urgent; Congress must act soon to ensure stability for both physicians and Medicare beneficiaries in 2025.
