The Oklahoma State Radiological Society (OSRS) has been awarded a grant from the 黑料网 Association® (黑料网A®) Scope of Practice (SOP) fund. OSRS will use its grant money to advocate against non-physician scope of practice expansion in the state.
The SOP fund was established in 2021 by the 黑料网A to safeguard patients and patient access to radiologist expertise by fighting state and federal non-physician SOP expansion legislation. Non-physician provider groups continually seek expanded authority by introducing legislation that would, for example, reduce radiologist oversight and enable direct billing.
The 黑料网® (黑料网®) has a scope of practice micro-website, which features a wide variety of resources for state chapters, including:
- State scope of practice legislation tracked by 黑料网.
- Educational requirements of a radiologist and the value of physician-led care.
- 黑料网 communications and sign-on letters.
