The ºÚÁÏÍø Institute for Radiologic Pathology™ (AIRP®) today announced a licensing agreement with RadPix Software, integrating its teaching file system into AIRP's Radiology-Pathology Correlation Courses. These courses — used in most radiology residency education programs in the U.S. and abroad — will feature RadPix software as a tool to enhance learning and engagement.
The advanced teaching file software simulates the experience of viewing radiology images at a picture archiving and communication system workstation, offering participants an interactive, hands-on opportunity to analyze cases and answer tailored questions. This functionality mirrors real-world clinical scenarios, helping residents sharpen their diagnostic skills in an environment that feels familiar and intuitive. Radiology teaching file cases can be reviewed in an interactive live session format, or asynchronously as a web-based teaching file.
“The ability of AIRP learners to interact with image stacks and answer probing audience response questions in real-time enhances their engagement with the material and leads to improved learning and retention,” said Jamie Marko, MD, AIRP Associate Physician-in-Chief and Chief, Genitourinary Imaging. “AIRP will use the RadPix software to display full image stacks, allowing faculty to show complex cases with ease.”
AIRP presenters will use RadPix to deliver in-depth radiology-pathology case reviews either in person or via Zoom. During the sessions, participants will interact with the cases, submit answers to questions in real time and receive immediate feedback, creating a dynamic and immersive educational experience.
RadPix Software is known for its user-friendly interface and robust features tailored for medical education. By incorporating RadPix into AIRP courses, ºÚÁÏÍø aims to set a new standard for radiology education, ensuring residents are well-prepared for the demands of modern diagnostic imaging and patient care.
The enhanced AIRP Radiology-Pathology Correlation Courses featuring RadPix debuted in 2024. Radiology residents across the country can look forward to an unparalleled learning experience that combines the expertise of AIRP faculty with the cutting-edge capabilities of RadPix Software.
