Types of Projects Funded

Pilot or seed grant-type projects should test a new idea or help support a new area or direction of clinical radiology research. Grants may address a specific hypothesis and generate preliminary data that could be used to bolster subsequent comprehensive applications to national peer-reviewed funding agencies. The project must utilize ºÚÁÏÍø staff expertise or systems and outline a plan for future growth in science and funding.

We welcome projects related to the domains of our ºÚÁÏÍø research committees: Molecular Imaging, Pediatric Imaging, Cardiothoracic radiology, Neuroradiology, Head Injury and Interventional Radiology. Projects that do not fall within the research committees may not be considered.

We look forward to receiving your innovative ideas to be considered during the next application cycle. The request for applications is expected sometime in Q4 2025.
