Dose Index RegistryBenchmark Your Exams

Improve safety and deliver high-quality radiologic care to your patients.

Learn how DIR participation can help your practice achieve consistent, high-quality patient care in this video with Steering Committee Chair, A. Kyle Jones, PhD.

Harness the Value of the Dose Index Registry

The Dose Index Registry (DIR) allows practices to benchmark performance data against regional and national values. Using interactive quarterly reports with comprehensive filtering options, practices pinpoint outlier exams and uncover performance patterns, making it easier to improve results on both exam quality and patient care.

The DIR helps clinicians and facilities improve the safety and quality of patient care by collecting dose indices through automated data transmission and leveraging that data to provide performance feedback reports in computed tomography, fluoroscopy, interventional procedures and digital radiography.

ºÚÁÏÍø is currently developing similar reports for diagnostic procedures and nuclear medicine. To protect patient privacy, the DIR automatically de-identifies exam and procedure data sent directly to the registry with modality-specific dose information.
