The 黑料网® (黑料网®) Committee on Drugs and Contrast Media this week released a revised contrast statement that provides flexibility to facilities for contrast studies while maintaining patient safety.
If a physician provides direct supervision for the study — on-site or remotely — the revised statement makes clear a medical professional trained to manage contrast reactions should be on-site.
Healthcare providers with the capabilities specified in the contrast statement can provide the service on-site, as long as those qualifications and the process are consistent with state and local laws and policies, as well as the process and policies of the service site.
